Thanks for this Brian.  I'm gonna use this approach with my CT-ing.  :)
Just to confirm, I will focus on the feeling AND my anger towards it (at the same time), yes?

Hello all,

I recently went back to using my click tracks (thanks to Paul McCabe's great suggestions).
I have focused the last 2 days on a stubborn issue I had and the emotional charge of it went down.  Although still there, I'm gonna continue until I get it down to a zero.

One thing that I have noticed during and after running a CT is that different emotions have come up.  I know some techniques outside of PSTEC call these "aspects".
Question:  should this be the case in PSTEC also?  (i.e., new things come up)

Thanks,
John

Thanks Paul.  I appreciate your input and recommendation(s).  :)
I'm "embarrassed" to point out that I have purchased all of Tim's tracks over the last 5-6 years now.  So, yes, I also have the accelerators.  :)

As the saying goes:  "When I student is ready, the master appears."

Corny, I get it.  But, I think I'm ready now.  Especially, with your guidance through this forum.  :)

Thanks Paul.
Broke out my click tracks.  :)

I'll be honest that I have a difficult time focusing and concentrating with the feelings and emotions I'm working on while doing CT.   For this reason, I have put my CT's "on the shelf".  :)

But I start it again.  :)

Belief Blasters / What are the typical beliefs that surround betrayal?
« on: February 08, 2018, 10:05:11 PM »
I know what I'm feeling because of the betrayal, but I don't know how to word it.
Does anyone have any suggestions or have a similar experience with betrayal that can give me an idea of beliefs that I can work on?

Thanks!!

One more quick question.
I just got through listening to the BB Instructions.  Tim mentioned that I should do the following as I repeat the newly created belief (in my mind):

"... you should shape the words with your mouth."

What does he mean by that?  :)

Hello all,

I just purchased BB last night.  I will fully listen to the Instructions today (twice or more just to fully understand this new PSTEC tool).  :)
Question:  how do I know what my beliefs are?   Are there ways of knowing what my 'negative' ones are?

Please advise when you can.  :)

Thanks,
John

Click Track 2015 / Are there any (online) videos that demonstrate PSTEC?
« on: February 10, 2017, 07:59:53 PM »
Hello all,

I have been searching for a "PSTEC demo" video online for a couple years now, but I haven't found one.  Does one exist?

Thanks,
John

Tell us About your PSTEC Story / Re: Anger packages
« on: October 27, 2016, 07:48:06 PM »
I just purchased the "No More Anger" Package this morning.  I listened to the Introduction/instructions mp3 and by the sounds of it, it's very easy and super effective with Anger issues.  Further, it's totally different from CT's.

Hi Peter,

Thanks for the reply.
Yes, I do have fear of change, as I get comfortable with the status quo.  This said, is this what I run the CT on first?

Thanks again,
John

Tell us About your PSTEC Story / Focusing on issues
« on: August 15, 2016, 11:24:31 PM »
Before chalking this to one as *the same* as a recent post titled, "How to REALLY try to hold on to the negative memory/feeling with click tracks", which was answered amazingly by Peter Bunyan, I think my issue is a bit different.
I apologize if this is a similar post, but I only recently got back perusing this forum.

Here it goes:
I have no problem zeroing into my issues.  What I do have a problem with is when I start the PSTEC CT's and when Tim says, "... focus on your issue."  At this point I cannot.

Then I sometimes stop the CT, take a break, then I can focus/feel the issue/emotion again.

Any advice to holding on to the issue at least in the beginning would be great.  (as strange as that sounds)

Thanks!
John
